Perry Mitchelmore

Responsible for corporate strategies, financial performance and client satisfaction. He started Meco as a sole proprietor in 2002 and has stewarded the business into a leader in civil engineering in the fields of dam engineering and dam safety, particularly as they relate to geotechnical, hydrotechnical and structural engineering.
Lori Dunn
FINANCE/ADMIN MANAGER
Responsible for finance and accounting, office management and client satisfaction. Lori has been with Meco for over fifteen years and has normalized an efficient interface with our clients, staff and suppliers.
Anthony Lewis
CET
MANAGER - TECHNICAL SERVICES
Anthony is the Technical Services Manager with over two decades industry experience in delivering projects in the heavy civil, mechanical and industrial sectors. Trained as a CAD Tech, Anthony has experience working with AutoCAD, 3D AutoCAD, Prosteel, and CadWorx.
Project experience consisting of layout and design for civil and structural applications in the industrial and commercial sectors, along with onshore and offshore oil and gas sectors, creating structural steel drawings, reinforced concrete drawings, general arrangements, part drawings, site specific drainage and road work, plan and profile drawings, preparation of cost estimates, site supervision, contract administration, reporting during construction activities, review of payment certificates, review of testing results and other construction activities.
Daniel Mitchelmore
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Daniel is a recent graduate of Acadia University’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program. He’s currently focused on business development at Meco, where he’s helping improve internal systems, build out our marketing program, and drive outbound sales.
Hamid Goharnejad
PhD
WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER
Hamid is a Hydrotechnical Engineer with more than 10 years’ experience. Dr. Goharnejad has specialized skills in Hydrological modelling of terrestrial environments and hydrodynamic modelling of ocean currents,
He has completed several projects in water resource engineering ranging from the design of small conveyance structures to megaprojects like tunnels, spillways, intakes, and penstocks with the capacity between 50-10,000 CMS. Hamid has been involved in coastal engineering, wave modelling in the Caspian Sea, Persian Gulf, Oman Sea, as well as the Arctic and North Atlantic Ocean.
Oscar Moyles
JUNIOR ENGINEER
Oscar is a Young professional from Dalhousie University’s engineering program. Demonstrating eagerness and competence in the field and office, Oscar’s responsibilities include hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, field data collection, writing and reviewing of technical reports, and other civil engineering-related works.
Aidan McFarland
ENGINEER-IN-TRAINING (EIT)
Aidan is a recent graduate from Dalhousie University with a focus on structural and geotechnical engineering and is currently working as a Junior Civil Engineer in Training at Meco. Aidan’s responsibilities include performing geotechnical and structural analysis, hydrotechnical assessments, and risk management for dam projects. Aidan has previous experience in project coordination in the construction industry through multiple co-operative program work terms. Aidan has additional experience with moisture-density testing of soils, along with basic structural design.
